Chairman Whitehouse: Extremist MAGA Agenda Serves Creepy Billionaire Elite, not American Families
March 7 - Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, delivered remarks at a press conference today alongside Senate Democratic Leadership to preview President Biden's budget and assail the House GOP's secret budget negotiations.
Whitehouse said today, "All their caterwauling about red ink and wokeness is a smokescreen for an extremist MAGA agenda that serves their creepy billionaire elite, not American families. If MAGA Republicans leveled with the American people about what they’re really up to, they’d be sent home in a heartbeat. Democrats have nothing to hide, and you’ll see that in the President’s Budget."
