Lauren Boebert is going to be a grandma.......

geez, this family needs someone to guide them. But that won't happen. I feel for the babe!

Lauren Boebert’s son appears to be a statutory rapist. The age of consent in Colorado is 17. The girl was 15. Bobo is against sex education in school. She has a rap sheet and married a man who exposed himself to minors in a bowling alley.
What a train wreck of a family.

We can certainly hit her on family values hypocrisy but I wouldn't pursue the statutory rape angle when they're so close in age.

I'm sure she's a terrible mother.

They are so close in age, it doesn't qualify as statutory. That doesn't change the fact that they were both too young.

But senior boys and sophomore girls have been bopping each other since the dawn of time.

I bet Boebert is going to blame it on the fact that he HAD sex-ed in school.

That the dreaded 'sex-ed' in school effectively encouraged sexual activity among young people, and made it 'sound okay to do'.

It'd almost be weird if someone like her failed to do so in a situation like this.

What's different about the current generation of mendacious GQP politicos ... is that Boebert would say it even if her son never actually had sex-ed in school, without hesitation.

Her life is forever changed in ways Boebert’s son will never have to face. And given the very low morals of this family, will he even pay child support?

In order to fill out the birth certificate if one of the parents was under 18, a parent must also sign.
I had asked the staff in the family birthing center to prepare me for unusual circumstances. There were many.
This one stayed with me. The mother was 14, and her mother had her when she was 14. Yes, I was getting ready to meet a 28yo grandmother. I had to compose myself before walking into the room.
The mother was watching TV, the grandmother was happily holding the baby. I wondered if that was going to be the future for that child. Perhaps being raised by grandma would have been the best option in such a situation.
I don't remember how old the father was, but also a teenager, his mother looked older than 28 though. Both has to sign as well.

There are many other stories from that part of my job. None were positive.

Youngest grandmother I met was 30. She was 15 when she had her daughter.
I switched school districts.

My former student came with the daughter, who was bringing her son for K screening.
She had had him when she was 15

Oldest child -- son Track -- two children by two different women, married to one briefly until her parents intervened and ended it. He has no visitation rights with either child. Arrested for holding AR-15 on one of the women. Arrested for threatening to shoot his father.

Second child -- daughter Bristol -- knocked up by at least two different men, maybe three. Three kids by two or three different men. Briefly married to a Marine who received the Medal of Honor -- Sarah thought his record would make him and Bristol Vice-Presidential material. After their divorce, he spends his time pumping iron and attacking Democrats. Bristol and the three kids are selling overpriced real estate in Austin TX.

Then, there's this: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2014/oct/09/sarah-palin-family-drunken-brawl-police-report

Finally, three years ago, Sarah's husband Todd had enough, divorced her.

Pennsylvania has a Romeo-and-Juliet law that prevents the prosecution of consensual sexual activity between a minor age 13 or older and a defendant who is less than four years older than the child. So, for example, the law doesn't criminalize consensual sexual contact between a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old.

However, sexual contact with a child younger than 13 is always a serious crime, no matter the age of the defendant. A conviction for sexual intercourse with someone under the age of 13 can result in up to 40 years in prison.
https://www.criminaldefenselawyer.com/resources/pennsylvania-statutory-rape-laws.htm#:~:text=Statutory%20Sexual%20Assault%20of%20a%20Child%20Younger%20Than%2016&text=A%20second%2Ddegree%20felony%20subjects,prison%20and%20a%20%2425%2C000%20fine.

Wonder who is arrested if both people are 13 or younger.
Like always these Christofascist are perverting Christ's teachings to justify their life style.

I think she, mtg, gym, matty, spinelessK, comer and even meatball are doing an excellent job of showing the world what the party really is. The problem is they have unlimited money to fuck with elections and people who are actually trying to govern in a sane manor. Faux news is going to go through some things...probably won't be able to be as helpful as in the past.

After all, there is nothing more rigorous than a lot of multiple choice questions even when you can refer back to the textbook and notes or phone a friend.
