make weed legal everywhere. One of cops' typical excuses for arrest and search is "I smell marijuana." A lot, not all, but many cops are capable of lying and breaking laws routinely. I don't think we should end law enforcement, but police all over the country are corrupt as hell. The institution of police work is in dire need of reforming. Right now they mostly send people to jail, but if you have a lot of property, the police will protect the property and give you respect. They make you sit in jail and pay fines, while the landed gentry have the police as their security. People often don't worry about the system until they end up at odds with them. It's a fucking disgrace, and it takes a toll on people. So many people are afraid to call the cops these days. If you can't call them for help, what fucking good are they?
