(32,736 posts)may be working and this whole deal will end up making it stronger. If it works out like it is starting to look like, new laws will be passed to shore up it weaknesses we have seen these last few years. Now we just have to take down those 20 or so hard core Magas in congress like Gordon and MTG to never be heard from again.
One would have to think it is the end of the Repub Party and a new one will have to rise out of the ashes.
Good job.

(7,868 posts)inner circle of loyal coup enablers they are the wall protecting Trump and, yet, Smith scaled Trump's ten foot wall of executive privilege with his eleven foot ladder of persistence now I understand why Garland declined to prosecute Scavino/Meadows with contempt of Congress for defying the January 6 committee conspiring with a sitting president to stop the sacrosanct peaceful transition of power/aiding and abetting a sitting president's plot to overthrow the government of the United States carries more multiple federal felony weight than refusing to turnover texts and emails to Congress once Smith stripped the treasonous assholes of their executive privilege claims they have no choice but to testify before the grand jury..the question remains..do they tell all and make a deal with the DOJ to avoid prosecution/jail time or do they protect Trump?
