'Politically toxic': Chris Hayes on the abortion trap the GOP sprung for themselves - All In - MSNBC

Chris Hayes: Republicans running for president in 2024 will have to answer this question: Do you support a national ban on abortion? And that answer is likely politically toxic. - Aired on 04/13/2023.

Not to mention, they consider ending toxic pregnancies and aiding women suffering from miscarriages to also be abortions. Women will now suffer unnecessarily and some will die, but that price is just fine with the "pro-life" contingency.

Do away with the separation of church and state, Turn loose the assessors on church properties. Use the money to care for babies that churches force women to have by codifying their religious beliefs aided and abetted by members of the party of responsibility. If, against the advice of her doctor a woman, or 12 year old rape victim, is forced to have a baby because of a church’s religious belief and the baby is born with mental and or physical disabilities, the zealots will be paying for the upbringing for life. OR, we’ll find out what zealots really value. The details can be worked out in the committee for the weaponization of sanity.

Yo Tim Scott. Let’s have a serious discussion about why you are a fuckin moron and a liar. And why you hate women. And why your party is composed of kkk members clad in cheap ill fitting suits and boorish ties. That’s some serious shit huh Tim. Oh like trillions of Americans I won’t be voting for your sorry ass. Send me a survey to fill out.

Same with women suffering miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies or fetuses which are no longer viable. All the child care in the world won't save them. Women - and young girls - will die under these archaic laws.

Let me be horribly blunt, yet truthful. The zealots who would facilitate such tragedies would offer thoughts and prayers. Some might attend the funeral(s). None would take responsibility. Sadly, with or without the separation, zealots are getting their way in too many cases. One case is too many.

As been said so many times, these medical decisions need to be made by qualified physicians, not by unqualified partisan judges or legislators.
