Exxon CEO's Shocking Record Pay Hike Amid Ukraine War Sparks Outrage - WION

The increase in oil prices following the conflict in Ukraine has resulted in high inflation worldwide and a terrible economic crisis in certain nations, but ExxonMobil CEO Darren Wood has good news because his compensation package has increased by more than 50% since the conflict.

But again, war is money, and someone will be making money off of it at the cost of lives.

about it.

We live in a society where we are all, on a daily basis, outraged, and the sad thing is that we become outraged on a daily basis about the same things we have been outraged for years, and still nothing is done.

How many times have we been outraged by "thoughts and prayers" after an AR-15 savage killing, by oil executives getting outrageous bonuses, by the inequality the economic decisions made by our own government has created since the Reagan era, the new republican sport of banning books, banning free speech, gerrymandering, changing voting laws to disenfranchise minorities and Democrats, and I can go on and on from all the things we are outraged that never get fixed.

"Sparks Outrage"...big deal if nothing is done about it.
