Finland's 80 Year Plan to Stop the Russians - TLDR News EU

Recently, Finland finally joined NATO after a long accession process, ensuring greater security from its new allies. But even without NATO, they were well placed to defend themselves and, given their preparedness, might be considered impossible to invade.

Described it as a light that went right through me. That doesn't compute with anything I can compare but he said it was the best description he could give.

defence pacts, even without Nato) is to nuke us.

All 4 countries have globally unique 'total defence' internal mobilisation schemes where basically all of the populations, minus the very young and very old, can be called up and placed into superstructures that will fight to the death if need be.

Even with nukes we (I know for sure Sweden has this) have hyper-sophisticated, holistically-integrated defensive system capabilities and a massive amount of deep underground shelters.

Nukes would, of course, more than likely (if enough were sent) end up destroying us at the end of the day, but we hopefully will tie up Russia to the point the US and Nato will destroy Russia (unfortunately Russia could likely do the same in return) IF Russia focuses on us (and the Baltics). After that, planetary Nuclear Winter will probably take care of the rest of the world (human wise) down the road, unfortunately.

Sweden has an experimental all female Special Forces military assassination (in country, post invasion) squadron trial going on, they cross-trained with some of the Jegertroppen in the far north of Sweden during winter time. Finland is talking about doing one too. I have not heard anything about Denmark doing one. Denmark is harder to defend if an enemy land force somehow gets inserted, as it is small, and lacks the vast rural and mountainous areas that we the Swedes, the Norse, and the Finns have. The do have 2 advantages though. they have Germany right next door to lend massive firepower, and a land force would have to come via sea, barring one coming up from northern Germany, which is highly unlikely.
