Doesn't ring true somehow. I guess it has to do with trying to have it both ways.

destroy the last remnants of the New Deal and the social safety net.

Now they are playing the same game, with limited revenue increase, to do the exact same thing. Wolves in sheep's clothing is what they have always been and will remain.

Allow sequestration hit in 2013 and destroy their scheme. Obama should travel the world until the fiscal cliff they engineered takes place.

Their con game been revealed. Ignore them.

Don't trust them. Every one of them is still saying no tax hikes on rich folks. Yeah, they want to end deductions, but only those for the middle and lower class. Not a single one of them is saying they will increase rates and they are all still mouthing that nonsense about "can't hurt job creators". What rot. Where are the jobs now?

This is just smoke and mirrors because they lost big. They still want exactly the same things and are still willing to ruin the country economically to get their hands on our $$ and take it from us. They've hated Medicare and Social Security since day 1 and still firmly in that same mind frame. Let us go over the cliff (stupid analogy though this is), let the tax rates rise and defense be cut then put forth a motion to lower taxes on middle class, no debate allowed, and see if the Repugs will vote against that.

They will only do it if there are massive "entitlement" reforms.

lying mouths. Obama has the people behind him. I will hold his feet
to the fire when it comes to SS and Medicare. There will be no negotiation
on those two safety nets. Repcons are greedily waiting to get their
hands on those funds. Bush may have failed but it has never stopped
being their goal.

Drive over the fiscal curb. Let them sweat this one.

And it would end just about the same as the original. Norquist's bluff is finally being called.
