14. This is the first time in our history where the age of the current president is an issue.

If it was the economy or an unpopular war that can change. Biden can't make himself younger. This is not going to change.

Reagan was in his 70s. Biden is in his 80s. The Democratic Party was very unpopular compared to the Republicans. This coming election is going to come down to the swing states.

Biden already beat him once and will do so again. I don’t see that discussion on these pundit panels.

at this point in his presidency. Would Biden have won if not for COVID and the 2020 recession?
I think it is almost certain the Republicans are going to push us into a recession before next year.
I think they are talking reality, it is not going to be a cake walk like everyone here appears to think.
Trump beat Trump the last time.

The country is split about 50%-50% in their political ideology. The results in most elections have a +/- variation of about 3%. That means that factors such as voter turnout and voter obstruction will influence and determine the outcome.

I agree that GOP will not do anything to help the economy, I only hope that they don't let the debt ceiling battle doesn't reach a point that the US does not receive another credit rating downgrade.

Knocked out of the race ASAP. While I don't think voters will put him back in the White House, we don't need to take that chance.

The only way at ensure he doesn't get reelected is to make sure he's not on the ballot come November, 2024.

13. Biden isn't hugely popular but I have heard Republicans say he isn't toxic like some other Dems

It's hard to totally dislike Biden compared to a number of other Dems. That alone is worth a lot dispite his soft poll numbers. It really should be enough to beat Trump unless the economy totally crashes but even that might not doom Biden. Most of the country can't stand Trump no matter what the economy does.
