1. Saw a similar clip yesterday of LA Rep Senator John Kennedy/Foghorn Leghorn doing this.

It seems to be a debate technique that the respondent's are unprepared for - asking them if they approve or disapprove of something that doesn't happen. Trying to force them to say that some level of abortion restriction is needed.

Not sure what the technique is, but I've seen it a lot in public hearings by Rethugs. We need to have our folks trained in these techniques and how to respond.
