I remember him during President Obama's presidential reelection, where Schmidt brought in Palin as VP with McCain.

When Tucker Carlson claimed that White Supremacy was not a problem in America, Shepard Smith, on the hard news side of Fox News, stated that Carlson was wrong. Fox News made Shepard Smith APOLOGIZE to Tucker Carlson and Smith quit Fox News soon after. Two other Fox News contributors later quit after Tucker created his January 6th documentary which exonerated Trump and blamed it all on the FBI and the Capital Police.
