Rep. Goldman: GOP avoids expelling Santos with 'cop out' vote - The Last Word - MSNBC

House Republicans, even those who say George Santos should resign or be expelled, blocked a Democratic effort to vote for his expulsion and “punted it to the Ethics Committee.” Rep. Daniel Goldman tells Lawrence O’Donnell why that is insufficient to hold Santos accountable and how Republicans are avoiding the issue because “all they care about is his power” in Congress. - Aired on 05/17/2023.

We know that the Republicans need Santos' vote, as for TFG, you've got me swinging...

They’re running roughshod over all our hard fought battles and progress it’s taken so long to achieve. They’re now using “compromise “ but even that is loaded with deceit. I’m just real tired of all of em. They have no platform, no plans, no ideas..just roadblocks..getting real old.

After what seemed like years of national torture, we thought we finally got rid of TFG - but there he is, his crimes are still leading the news everyday, and he's left criminal detritus behind in the form of Republicans in Congress.

13 counts on his indictment and the repugs continue to let him remain in congress. Says so much about this party and their quest for power at ANY and ALL costs. Makes me want to vomit

And when he was questioned by reporters, he kept saying it was up to "the voters." Well, a group of those voters from his district went to D.C. to demand a new election. But he's still in office despite constituent lack of support - and he has McCarthy's support since he's desperate for Santos' vote!
