Trump's Only Competent Lawyer Finally Ditches Him - Farron Balanced

Donald Trump's legal team suffered a massive blow this week as the only competent lawyer remaining on his team announced that he was leaving. That lawyer, Timothy Parlatore, has tried many high profile cases and one of his specialties is white collar criminal defense. We've seen what the rest of Trump's legal team has to offer, and it isn't anything that a client would get excited about. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Donald Trump's legal team suffered a massive blow this week when the apparently only competent lawyer left on his team, decided it was time to call it quits. That attorney happens to be Timothy Parlour. Now, Mr. Parlour has been with Donald Trump's team. I, I think actually the least amount of time compared to most of his other lawyers, including Joe Taina. But based on resume alone, parlak is the one who had the most experience trying high profile cases, being a white collar criminal defense lawyer, basically the exact kind of guy you would want on your legal team if of course you were accused of, or indicted for the things that Donald Trump has been indicted for and accused of. And now he's gone. Joe Taina, Donald Trump's lead attorney in the recent, uh, devastating loss for him in the Eugene Carroll trial. At one point I had talked about the fact that he was a competent lawyer that has a very good resume, and that is true.

He kind of showed that he's not quite as competent handling Donald Trump's cases, but after Ta Capina had kind of proven that he wasn't all, he was cracked up to be parla to came along. And that is, if you'll remember, I did a segment at the time like, this guy's actually not bad, you know, in terms of being a good lawyer. Par Laure is a good lawyer, again, has, has done high profile cases. You know, media attention is not something that phases this guy. White collar, criminal defense, military background, good credentials, good lawyer gone from Trump's team. So that leaves him with loser taina and repeated loser, Alina Haba, and then a bunch of, uh, other no-name people who according to reports, just continuously fight with one another behind the scenes. And some reports have even suggested that Donald Trump enjoys the fighting between his lawyers, threatening to fire them and replace them with other lawyers, which to be honest with you, man, might not be a bad idea at this point.

Now, par to insists that this decision to leave Trump's legal team has has nothing to do with, you know, the legal problems. It's personal, it's totally personal, but some reports suggest that this decision came about after Donald Trump's disastrous town hall event on CNN last week, where when asked about whether or not he had shown the classified documents to anybody else, Trump responded, not really. Like he didn't, he didn't say no, he just said not really. I mean, so given that Parlour was specifically working on the documents case and the fact that Donald Trump may have accidentally admitted to showing classified documents to individuals last week, the timing of this sudden, like, all right, I'm out. Seems a little suspicious, right?

I mean, your guy, your client just went on national television, millions of people watching, and even more millions of people talking about it even over a week after it happened, admitting that he may have shown classified documents to people, and now suddenly you're like, yeah, personal things, KA, I gotta go. I gotta go guys. Bye. Delete my number. Yeah, that, that seems a little too convenient. But honestly, whatever the reasons are for Parla to leaving, and we may never actually know the full real reasons. Maybe it is just personal reasons, who knows, whatever it is good for Laur, because as I've repeatedly said, and I'll say it again, I'm sure I'll say it a million times after this, when you represent Donald Trump as his legal counsel, you don't get the happy ending. Par Laur got out of there before he suffered any humiliating losses in court. He got out before, you know, he had motions laughed out of court. He got out before he got sanctioned by judges. So he did well, right? Good on him for getting the hell out of there. The rest of Trump's counsel, if you still have time, you might wanna pull the same move and get the hell out of there before you have to lawyer up yourself.

Remember the idiotic letter that TFG's attorney sent to the House Intelligence Committee. In that letter, TFG's attorneys claimed that all of the classified documents ended up at Mar-a-Lago by accident due to a hurried job of packing. TFG just contradicted that letter at the CNN townhall when TFG admitted that he took the documents and had the right to take these documents.

One of the authors of that letter is Parlatore which explains why he resigned. Here is a description of some of the stupid claims made in that letter. This is a very stupid move by TFG. Congress has no power to block the DOJ/Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation. This filing contains admissions that Jack Smith will be able to use against TFG. I hope that this is a stunt that TFG demanded because

It was against this backdrop that the former president sent a remarkable new appeal to Capitol Hill yesterday. The New York Times reported:

Lawyers for former President Donald J. Trump asked lawmakers on Wednesday to place the intelligence community in charge of assessing Mr. Trump’s handling of the classified documents found in his possession after leaving office, saying Congress should strip the Justice Department of authority to run the investigation.

If this sounds outlandish, that’s because it is. In a 10-page letter to the House Intelligence Committee, Trump’s lawyers — in all seriousness — argued that they believe a “legislative solution” by Congress is “required” to prevent federal prosecutors from pursuing the case further.

The letter proposed that the Justice Department “should be ordered to stand down.”.....

University of Michigan law professor Barbara McQuade, a former U.S. Attorney and an MSNBC legal analyst, added this morning, “Surely, they know this request is a non-starter that would violate separation of powers. This looks more like a PR move on the eve of indictment.”

In this letter, TFG's attorney admits that TFG has classified documents "that the White House staff simply swept all documents from the President’s desk and other areas into boxes."

In an absolutely BONEHEAD move, Trump’s attorneys just admitted Trump may have taken classified briefings of phone calls with foreign leaders.

This is absolutely wild.

In a letter to the GOP chair of the House Intelligence Committee, two of Donald Trump’s defense lawyers argue that the fact Trump may have these classified briefings “indicates that the White House staff simply swept all documents from the President’s desk and other areas into boxes.”

In defending Trump…they may have just made it even worse for him.

Trump’s attorneys wrote the letter to urge Congress to tell the Justice Department to “stand down.”

TFG gutted the authors of this letter which is why this attorney resigned
