Chef Jose Andres Launches New Institute to Tackle the Global Food Crisis - Amanpour and Company

Global food insecurity is more severe than ever, according to a new report from the World Food Programme that identifies 19 hotspots on the brink of catastrophic hunger. The problem is not limited to countries facing war, famine and climate disasters. In the U.S. nearly one-third of college students struggle with food insecurity.

Chef and humanitarian activist José Andrés is on the front lines of the global food crisis. He joins Hari Sreenivasan to discuss his new strategy. Originally aired on June 02, 2023.
