I did not recognize Parlatore immediately and there was no chiron. I was wondering why this guy was twisting every possible fact to justify that Trump should not be charged.

One the Chiron displayed his name it became more understandable..

8. What's his choice? Maybe disclose priviliged information on his client? Admit to the government ...

... he engaged in multiple felonies? He's got to cuddle up to the Tangerine Scream.

BTB - have you noticed the dark morticians makeup he using now instead of the spray can orange? He reminds me of what a latin friend of mine said to me in my first Navy bootcamp shower - "Man, Marble, you are the whitest white man I ever saw!"

Maybe 45 and Putin are walking wrecks. They look like they feel someone's been walking on their grave.

Tangerine Scream just doesn't want to finish up on a prison cot.

Putin just wants to survive with his billions. He pushes a button and his fortune goes up in vapor. He'd really like a way out.

13. Of course his former attorney won't admit his goose is cooked - unless it's Michael Cohen

3. Hayes should have asked him things like:
Tue Jun 6, 2023, 09:55 PM
Jun 2023

"What is the deal about them moving boxes just before the FBI or searchers arrived?"
"What do you make of the report that the flooding of the room with the surveillance video that would show movement of box wasn't an accident?"
"Or carting a bunch of boxes off to Bedminster after Trump has been asked for them?"
"Or how do you explain a classified document on attacking Iran Trump had and Trump identified as such is still missing?"

etc.

And then there's more from Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, Fani Willis and apparently E. Jean Carroll is coming back for more. But what Jack Smith does is what we've all been waiting for...

But Trump can be pardoned for federal crimes.

Nailing him for sedition would end his campaign if they don't stretch it out with appeals (which they will try to do).

There's no pardoning him for NY or GA state crimes which could put him in jail. That seems worthwhile - particularly if she nails him for racketeering.

Letitia James could take his company away from him.

I still think Trump is a piñata for the GOP who will parachute in a younger candidate once the Dems have locked in on Biden.

7. But who would possibly pardon him??

e know that Joe Biden has been pretty much keeping his distance from the whole mess. And sedition would be the most serious charge which would be true justice - since not only have the Proud Boys been convicted for doing TFG's bidding, but hundreds of insurrectionists have been charged, tried, convicted and jailed, while their "leader" who called them all to the Capitol still walks free. It's long past his turn.

9. A Republican President would pardon him.

Ford pardoned Nixon.
DeSantis has already talked about considering a pardon for the Jan 6 folks.
If he pardons Trump (or promises to), the MAGAs will flock to him.

If it were me, I'd lock him up and throw away the key.

10. And I think it's fair to say that history has judged that pardon to be a mistake

Since we've seen what has come afterwards. And what Republican president would that be? I don't think TFG will live that long - assuming that we ever have a Republican president again. As for DeSantis, he's making things worse for himself by the day...

And I'm for locking him up ASAP as well - he'll be lucky if they let him out for all his future court appearances.

I had protested Nixon.

I'm concerned because Joe's approval numbers seem absurdly low for the job he's done.
According to RealClear politics, he and Trump have similar approval numbers and Trump is slightly ahead in the polls. That doesn't compute with me. It's crazy. It is the media controlled by the American oligarchs pounding Joe. That is what gives the GOP hope to win back the Oval office. We've got a tough fight on our hands.

12. Well, the way I look at it, he's never actually "won"
Tue Jun 6, 2023, 11:46 PM
Jun 2023

He got over three million fewer votes in 2016 and lost by around seven million in 2020. And, if anything, his numbers have dropped even more since then with the larger number of Republican deaths due to Covid and those who have just left the party because his recent antics were just too much for them.

Not to mention, how is he expected to "campaign" around his numerous court appearances? And, hopefully, he'll be out of circulation by November 2024. At least that's my hope. I've voted since Jimmy Carter and I can't remember any indicted candidate running to lead the country, especially one who had previously tried to overthrow the government he was running to lead...

14. Republicans constantly accuse others of what they do themselves

The real Stop the Steal should have been in 2016.
Trump & the Russians stole the White House

Trump is a low life crook and a rabid dog
His approval numbers being similar to Joe Biden is proof that the media is messed up and no longer the great arbiter for democracy in the US.
