(44,738 posts)I appreciate his approach to stories, a lil sarcasm, a lot of heart. Lots of facts. Good for him.
I'm a fan!

(7,796 posts)Our frustration finally got to use pre-covid, so we only watch streaming, mainly Britbox and Acorn.
Innovative programming that we can watch and rewatch and learn something new.
You are obviously doing something right because I have watched a handful of presenters on DU, but they don't seem to last long.
You have found and filled a niche the right way.

(127,116 posts)I had one of those prescient incidents when my college roommate dropped in for an unexpected visit yesterday and I was thinking about him over the weekend.
Anyhow, Brian will bring another interesting voice to MSNBC since they seem to be featuring more of their young female show hosts lately.

(127,116 posts)of his work. Along with covering current news and events, Cohen does a legal analysis series with Glenn Kirschner and also has long interviews with political celebrities and newcomers. He also has started a Spanish language YouTube channel to encourage voter outreach.
Cohen is based out of Los Angeles which means that he will likely be shown on The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell since he is also based in Los Angeles. Cohen could lend some youthful energy to that show which Lawrence needs occasionally. While I expect Cohen to make the circuit of the other MSNBC shows, I think that the interaction of those two will determine whether Cohen will be considered to be a good fit at MSNBC.
The primary complaint about Cohen's segments on YouTube is that he uses clickbait titles. If that doesn't upset you, then the remainder of his videos are usually very strong and interesting. He just passed two million subscribers on YouTube which puts him at the top of liberal video bloggers.
