How does Poland plan to finance this? And wonder what Germany thinks about this?
Assuming Ukraine holds on and the Baltic state don't fold, Poland is the first line buffer of any Russian aggression (non nuclear) further west. In that sense Poland stronger facing Russia is a big help to Germany that has gutted its armed forces. But, Germany may want to worry about what if Russia folds and the Poland looks west with a substantially superior military force.
