1. The USS John C Stennis is an Aircraft Carrier

Named after a late US Senator from Mississippi who was instrumental in getting big bucks for the Navy. NASA also named a Space Center after him in South Mississippi after he was instrumental in getting the land that NASA deamed they needed back in the 60s - out in the boonies far away from humanity. NASAs engine testing operation was and still is very loud. I don’t see the Navy making any moves to change any names any time soon, but the plan is slowly in motion. Relative to the military Stennis was handy.

I know, I know, Congress sets the guidelines. But seriously, USS Lexington just sounds so much more classy than, say, USS George H. W. Bush.

They'll probably name one after Donald Trump. That would give them a two-fer: GOP President and traitor
