(3,523 posts)Didnt watch video, but the prices and nickel-and-diming has turned a whole segment of population off to the parks. Talk about greedflation and upcharging on everything! Too stressful to understand and workthe system for a simple visit.

(2,612 posts)95 degrees waiting in line isn't fun even with misters. The only places to go are Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.
It's insufferable. Especially with little kids.

(58,374 posts)When I was there 3 weeks ago, the place was PACKED. Long lines for everything. Ended up paying $30 to get a "Lightning Lane" pass, but even those lines were up to a 30 minute wait.

(6,732 posts)I've considered taking my daughter, but even for the two of us, you're looking at 2-3K for four or five days. It's just unreal.

(6,159 posts)Over the years, they have started packing too many people into it. It is miserable when you can't actually do the things without waiting in multi-hour lines.
Even though we live in Florida, we don't bother to go anymore. We did it for years when our daughter was young and it is just harder to enjoy now with the crowds.
It used to be that the fastpass made things more bearable but that system has changed. The last time I was there, a few of the busiest attractions needed appointments to be booked days in advance.
I know it has gotten ridiculously expensive. But I could make the argument that the law of supply and demand actually says it should cost more. I think it would actually be a better value to pay $300/day to be in a half full park than current price in a packed one. You could get more done in your time there and spend fewer days.
Or perhaps just not go at all.
