Naval Academy August 1963, the last sentence

Any Man who may be asked
What he has done in this century
To make his life worthwhile

I served in the United States Navy

4 months later he was gone

I served in the Navy. I cherish that Picture on my wall

He was a good and decent man

I have never seen the full speech.

A couple thoughts:

1) I was born in 1968. Didn't live through his presidency.

2) His whole speech, to me, was logic. It just made/makes sense.

3) What balls this guy had. Not in the macho way, in the bravery way. Considering the time and who he was surrounded by.

4) He actually said "Nuclear", not Nukular.
