McCarthy claims Trump receiving target letter is example of 'weaponized government' - MSNBC Reports

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., spoke to reporters after former President Trump said he received a target letter from special counsel Jack Smith's investigation into election interference and the January 6 Capitol riot. New York-21 was represented by a moderate Democrat until he retired in 2015 - and was inexplicably succeeded by Stefanik. Not only has she ignored the protesters who used to follow her around, but after she appeared on national TV alongside Gym Jordan, she's become TFG's greatest supporter, endorsing him for 2024 on election night in November - despite calls for her resignation.
