(549 posts)But I see it as the rich have taken over the Republican Party. They need a reliable base. Religious people want to have a society in a form they want. So the court pushes the religions agenda. The big payday comes with reducing taxes for the rich. Which the base votes for. Ultimately its the rich manipulating the courts for their own benefit. Thomas is an idiot if he thinks billionaires just want to be his friend.

(44,738 posts)I greatly appreciate the spotlight on a truly horrible married human being. BUT, can these above the law billionaires be subject to bribery investigations? They are buying and using Thomas and others like expensive and talented whores. Their talent being vote the way you are paid to. And it seems that pro publics has done an awesome job with the investigations portion. Slappy and Ginny are garbage and the leadership. Of the gop knows it. And can anyone have any doubt that any judge appointed by a serial lying, morally degenerate con man who is a convicted sex offender would be cut from the same Thomas cloth?
