Donald Trump has gotten away with intimidation, harassing and threatening language and posts for so long, that it's refreshing to have a judge finally place a gag order on Trump, prohibiting certain types of speech and posts.

(171,345 posts)was that some of that gag order could potentially end up being defacto applicable for the federal J6 case too because there are overlapping charges and witnesses (including un-indicted co-conspirators), and that was briefly brought up during one of the MSNBC shows too.

(26,315 posts)air this Wednesday? Almost guaranteed that there will be violations of the gag order in it.
Trump's defense will be that the interview was taped before he received the instructions about the limits on what he could do or say. Therefore, he will claim that he can't be held liable for anything in the interview.
Trump's attorneys probably did tell him to cancel the Monday press conference, but I expect that some of what he would have said then will be on his Tucker interview.

(257,627 posts)He just can't help himself, that's all he does these days is rant and rave about everyone being so "unfair" to him - and spout more lies. All he's got are complaints about the fix he got himself in. And it's no surprise that he'd skip the debate, he considers himself way too important to share a stage or wait his turn to speak - everything has to be all about him - like that "town hall" he did which also got him into additional legal trouble.

(26,315 posts)on Wednesday, the day of the Republican primary debate. The goal, of course, is to draw attention away from the debate and onto Trump.
I cannot imagine him going through that interview without attacking the prosecutors and court, and possibly co-defendants.
