They don't call them friendlies any more. They call them by their real name: assholes.

(9,696 posts)Sorry Alex, but to believe the Secret Service was "naive" you'd have to be, well, naive.

(102,791 posts)She let Carol Leonnig, once again, pedal the cover story for SS's misdeeds and is probably doing so to retain access for more stories. I think the naive one is Ms. Leonnig if she buys that line from SS or if she thinks we will if she tells it to us.
I think she isn't being honest here and I question many of her explanations about SS goings on.

(77,323 posts)... when they deleted all their texts on, before, and after 1/6/21? And who gave that order to do so?
Did any of them have burner phones? And what about the S.S. agents who showed up to give Mike
Pence a ride from the U.S. Capitol during the 1/6/21 attempted coup?

I don't buy it. They weren't blind, they were complicit.
But at this point, my big concern is that this media report has been allowed to make it to the public and is being taken seriously (whether it's cover for the secret service or delusion of the reporter).
We need to stick with reality, people. Reality.
