You know it's inevitable.

So I have to give some context. My opening is a quote from Boris Badenov (Rocky/Bullwinkle villain), in an exchange with the narrator when Boris is trying to sign off during the darkest moment of the story and the narrator interrupts in protest and Boris says, "Yes, but it won't be long now!" Somehow that came to mind when I read your comment.
