Challenging Donald Trump's qualification for election from your email inbox - Velshi - MSNBC

Legal scholars say Donald Trump is ineligible from holding office again, and now there's a movement to make sure he doesn't. Attorney, columnist for the MSNBC Daily newsletter, and host of "The Dean Obeidallah Show”

Dean Obeidallah joins Ali Velshi to break down just how easy it is to join in on the effort to disqualify Trump from running by way of the 14th amendment. “You don't dismiss the First Amendment. We don't dismiss the second, we can't dismiss the 14th amendment. This is part of the Constitution,” Obeidallah says. Write an email to your state election officials “urging them to consider the issue now.” - Aired on 08/26/2023.

If we left it up to the US voters to decide - I have no doubt that Chump would never be elected Potus again. It wouldn't matter who he ran against, he would LOSE!

But it's not up to the voters, because Chump's name cannot and should not ever appear on a ballot again. He can't run for President or any other office. He disqualified himself by his own actions and words before, during, and after January 6th, 2021.

Every state has the obligation to omit Chump's name from the 2024 ballots, primary and general. He's not a candidate and he never will be again.

Now we're hearing it from Constitutional scholars, especially now that he's facing 91 felony charges, yet he's still considered the Republican "front runner" and even his challengers are still supporting him!
