Apparently the question about running for reelection short-circuited his brain. One of the minders asked the audience to please ask another question.

I know the AI algorithms can get caught in dead-end loops, but I don't think ole Mitch as any of the I (intelligence) anymore.

I used to build PCs out of parts back in the 90s and early 2000s. It came in handy when my parents' PC crashed a while back. Their power supply was toast so I found another one that would work. It didn't fit in their case though so I tie-wrapped it together so they could save all their important files. I told them to do if fast because the other power supply I dredged up was old. Oh the things I used to know that are completely obsolete now.

that I would rather do with my declining years than pretend I could maintain super powers forever while doing an uncontrolled death spiral.

Angela Merkel withdrew from her position and while doing so explained to her country that she just was not as sharp as she should be as chancellor.

And by doing so she was able to move on to the next stage of her life with dignity, grace, and the admiration of people from all over the world. Even those that hated her had to respect the fact that did what she thought was best for her country.

"Mitch, after all of the harm that you have done can't you just go home to Kentucky and quietly enjoy your expanded basic cable, and central air conditioning. I'm sure that Thune, Cornyn, and that little shit Tom Cotton, amongst others, would love to drive you to the airport so they can start ransacking your office."

"Mitch, Mitch, can you hear me? Your mother is calling. You should go see what she wants."

but, this won't happen. He will have interns wheel him into the senate chamber on an electric bed.

Senatory evil is his thing, it's what he lives for, even when he doesn't exactly know where he is.

Mitch McConnell is second only to Donald Trump. In fact, Mitch McConnell has greatly aggravated the damage that Donald Trump has been able to do to our country. He may have started out his career as a legislator with some honorable objectives and ideals, but he quickly transformed himself into a cynical and destructive power broker, and nothing more. If Mitch had thrown his weight behind getting Republican senators to vote to impeach Donald Trump instead of merely giving that horrible slap on the wrist, pass the buck speech that he gave at Trump's second impeachment, he could have saved this country almost three years of agony and grief - and we would not be facing the horrifying possibility of another Trump presidency today. Thanks for nothing, Mitch!
