Furious Trump Junior Trashes Republicans For Copying His Dad's Grift - Ring of Fire

Donald Trump, Jr. is not happy that other politicians are "lining their pockets" by using his dad's mug shot to raise money, so Junior issued a plea for people to buy merch featuring the mug shot from "the source." And by "the source," he is obviously talking about himself. If anyone is going to raise tons of money off of his dad's legal problems, it is going to be him. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Donald Trump Jr. Is upset folks. He is upset because of all those horrible people out there making money off of his dad's mugshot. If you can imagine the audacity of these creeps out there, you've got 'em on the right, you've got 'em on the left, they're out there raising money, they're selling merch with the mugshot. And poor little Donnie Jr. Has apparently been left outta the Griff the whole time, and that's what's him off. So he got on his little podcast and he told viewers that even though he doesn't wanna do it, he is gonna start selling mugshot merch, you know, and people to get it straight from the source instead of buying it, you know, from all those other people. Here is Don Jr. Explaining why he's so mad about all those people that took advantage of a grift before he could take a look,

Get and just dedicated to there. I don't feel right about profiting from it. I get other people have made very good living doing the MAGA merch, even if none of the money actually goes towards the campaign or the cause it, you know, think of it, maybe it's a marketing expense. I can't do that. Uh, I wouldn't feel right doing it. I'd probably actually get killed in the press doing it, thinking about that now. Uh, but it's important to have it done. So if you guys go to shop don jr.com, I'll put the link up on the bottom. You guys can see it here. Uh, check out all the merch. I'm gonna take all of the profits from that. I'm gonna give it to the Legal Defense Fund to push back against some of the insanity, the miscarriage of justice. Uh, here. I'll, I'll let you guys know, uh, how much we end up making. I did that Thursday night. I figured again, everyone else is gonna be doing it. Many people will get rich. Most are not doing anything with it other than, uh, probably lining their own pockets. And, you know, that's the nature of capitalism. But, uh, I figured if you're gonna buy it, this is a good place to do it, and I'm gonna put that money, uh, towards the cause. Uh, so at least you can feel good about that yourselves, uh, as well, if you want it. But of course,

Oh, he doesn't wanna do it, folks, you know, he just, he has to, he has to get involved because everybody else is doing it. And, and he wants the money so he can give it to his dad's legal defense, right? I mean, his dad, the alleged billionaire, just golly, g needs more money to, to fight the, the indictments. He didn't have enough. Here's what I love about this story. I had to do some digging, right? I had to do a little bit of legwork to find out who actually owns the copyright of Donald Trump's mugshot. And in many instances, a mugshot of an individual is actually considered to be fair use property, which means in some areas, depending on how the, uh, courthouse jurisdiction does it, nobody owns that photograph. So in some areas, you can slap somebody's mugshot on a t-shirt, sell it all day long, nobody can get in trouble for that.

In other instances, if it's not fair use, then the ownership rights of that mugshot reside with the district sheriff's office. So if that is the case, you would have to get permission from the Fulton County Sheriff's Office to sell merchandise featuring Donald Trump's mugshot. If you use it without their permission and it's not fair use, they can then sue you for it. But at this point, obviously, if the mugshot were not fair, use the Fulton County, uh, courthouse Sheriff's office, they'd be like, Hey everybody, you gotta stop. We're gonna sue each and every one of you for all your profits.

I know, that’s pretty much anytime, like when he spewed this latest nonsense. Give it time, he’ll have a mugshot.
