At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the excitement of the new school year was destroyed by gun violence on Monday. While the circumstances of that shooting remain under investigation, President Biden announces one of the biggest attempts in years to regulate the sale of firearms by requiring everyone to have a federal license and conduct criminal background checks before making a sale. I actually wish they'd reinstall the Assault Weapons Ban, but anything that can be done I'm in favor of.
