However, I had a checkup at my doctor's last week and he said that there's going to be an updated vaccine available in September, not sure when it's going to be available in my neck-of-the-woods.

And my state (New York) is one of the four mentioned where it has appeared, though I'm guessing it's likely downstate where Covid first appeared on the East Coast.
