If you go to the 2:25 mark and pause the video you see the guy next to a recycling bin. Those things are a standard height. IIRC, the rim is about 41 inches from the ground. Using that as a reference Id guess the guy to be about 6 feet tall. According to online info MTG is 53.
If MTG was the bomber and had been caught the right would have lost a vote in Congress and the FBI would have immediately suspected she had accomplices. Moreover, militia guys are inherently sexist, and their type would be itching to do the job themselves, not hand it off to a woman.
On the other hand, if they used some random militia terrorist guy who has experience with explosives and possibly military background, he would be far less likely to mess up, and if he was caught he could claim to be a lone wolf.
Also, this video is a year old. Theres no knew information here.

(23,497 posts)they want us to recycle as much as possible, (this was before desantis) It came up to my stomach approximately. The bin is 36 inches tall - 3 feet . It comes up to my stomach and I am only 5' 3"; the same height as her. I see the bin may come up to her hips but I'm not sure.
Not sure what that means........

That sounds like it really could be mtg. I wonder if she had an alibi or if they were able to dismiss her as the possible planter of the bombs

(3,511 posts)which are 36 tall at the rim of the lid. It looked larger to me compared to the green bins on the left, but I think its a trick of the shadows. Im six feet tall, and the rim of the 36 bin hits me midway on the hip, well below the waste. I admit that my analysis of this is fairly subjective, but still I think the person in the video is significantly taller than Greene. Like you say, the rim would probably hit MTG around the waste line, which would make her shorter than the person in the video.
It makes zero sense to me that anyone would put a member of Congress in the position of planting bombs. My understanding is that these were working bombs capable of detonating. I think that the conspirators expected Antifa counter protesters to show up, and they would blame the bombs on Antifa to justify invoking the insurrection act. Again, if MTG had been caught it would have sparked an FBI investigation that could have spread to other Republican officials, right when they were trying to overthrow the election.
Greene doesnt need an alibi, because theres no evidence implicating her. I admit, none of my points are absolute or air tight theyre more like probabilities. And when you add them together they make MTG a pretty unlikely suspect, especially as there is no real basis to accuse her other than shes a repugnant Trumphumper like millions of Americans.

We do know that there is one group the FBI and Criminal Justice system are very afraid of.
And that would be sitting members of congress.

(625 posts)but cell towers need to know when a cellphone enters into its cell area. The cellphone sends a micro-signal alerting the tower that, "Hey, it's me, 408-323-0913" (rather, it's probably the SIM ID number, but you get the idea).
At any given time, and especially in a densely populated place like DC, there would be upwards of 10,000 phones within a single cell coverage area. Those phones just have to tell the cell tower that they're in that cell's coverage area. The tower would then relay that information to the "home switchboard" for the cellphone to tell it to send any calls to that cell tower.
The thing is, the person seems to have walk through multiple cell areas. If the person had the phone on to communicate with the cell towers, then the towers would have a record of that phone number being there at around that time. That's assuming also that such records are kept. But if such records are kept, they can see which mobile number is common at those locations at those times.
