Tamron Hall opened her interview with NJ Sen. Robert Menendez earlier today on MSNBC's NewsNation with the story the Associated Press broke about the sex offender immigrant who overstayed his visa yet interned at Menendez' office.

And right wingers love to complain that MSNBC=DNC-TV...but Hall spent essentially a whole six-minute interview with Menendez about the story and other RW points! Full interview here at MSNBC.com. (Edited after watching full video.)

If the Senator this was happening to was Bob Corker or John Cornyn or Jeff Flake, would you be so quick to object to the questioning?

Also, do you think Tamron wouldn't ask a Republican Senator the very same questions, that is, if they even agreed to come on MSNBC?

You seem to be upset that MSNBC isn't DNC TV and should just ignore the story.

I think hall did what she had to do as journalist after learning of a late breaking story. Also made sure to ask the senator to respond to Republican POV on immigration law.
