Someone should propose a bill that every gun sale needs a drug test.

I mean if it matters that much, it really shouldn't be the honor system.

I think it would put them in a real logic trap if they are going to screech about this.

There is almost nothing more pathetic than the fear of "reefer madness."

The poster I replied to was advocating for drug testing to buy a gun.

It seems fairly logical that requiring proof of a passing drug test to purchase a firearm wouldn't be granted by ATF to anyone resting positive for it.

Marijuana is still classified as a Schedule I drug under the Controlled Substances Act, making it illegal under federal law.

Alcohol is not

I'm sorry if you think it doesn't apply.

This is the applicable part of the form 4473 that Hunter is being charged with providing false information

Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?

Warning: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside.

and have a huge signing celebration. Invite HRC & President Clinton and President & Mrs. Obama, invite Democrats far & wide and their families.

Bet if a-body did some fact checking they'd come across a number of rwnj hypocrites' who've gotten busted for getting high and then afterward bought a weapon. Which automatically means they had to have lied on the federal paperwork (have you ever used an illicit drug?).

So tired of these asshole repubes who're mad at the world for who knows why/what. Why don't republicans go somewhere nice & peaceful, where no one will bother them and just fucking kill themselves.
