Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov blasted the West in his UN address, saying Ukraine’s Western allies are in a “direct war” with Moscow. He slammed the West for “de facto fighting against us using the hands and bodies of Ukrainians”. Lavrov highlighted the billions of dollars in Western military aid and also indicated that US and British intelligence are helping Kyiv. The top Russian diplomat was speaking at the UNGA after a week of intense global diplomacy and with no end to the war in sight.
