so there's no way in hell I'll click the clip. The petty, nit-picking (again an assumption) 'facts' presented might be 100% accurate, but the indisputable 'Reality Check' is that 30,000 Americans are murdered by guns every year. This has to stop. The gun advocates (I call them gun nuts, but whatever) could be part of the solution instead of the entire problem.

This video claims that's horribly wrong and inaccurate. See, they say, there were 59 gun murders in the UK and a little over 8,000 in the US.

the biggest is that the premise of the 'report' does not actually undermine Morgan's point, that there is far fewer homicides in Britain than the the US per 100000 people.
Another is his constant conflation between homicides and general crime which are a separate consideration.

This 'reality check' is a bunch of bullshit.

Well, he was wrong! The UK had 59, and the US only had 8,000. Therefore, Morgan's point is completely invalid! Or not! And as far as the rate goes, well, remember the US has about 5 times the population. So, instead of a factor of 135 difference, it's more like 675 times higher here.

Therefore, Piers Morgan is a liar and we Americans need even more guns. And people in England talk funny, too.

And notice that Honduras and El Salvadore have the highest in the world with Mexico not far behind. This is a result of the US war on drugs undoubtedly. So we not only outsource our jobs but outsource our crime and murder to neighboring countries.
