Sean Hannity and Brian Maloney are claiming Stephanie and Chris are marginalizing people who want to protect their homes with guns. In the soundbite, Stephanie and Chris both speak about right wing radio's job to make people paranoid, and Chris adds, "to create a nation of paranoid crazy's." Karl Frisch of Esquire.com says, "it's a lot more fun to get caught by NewsBusters." Chris agrees and says, "at least NewsBusters has some spunk." Frisch says, "when you take humor that is satire literal is because you are unwilling to confront the issues the metaphor is trying to stress."
