Weirdest Christmas present?

What is the weirdest or worst Christmas or birthday present you have received?

I got an automatic card shuffler one year and an electronic device to ward off bugs while camping another year. I don't play cards and I have never been camping. It was nice of them to think of me though.

I read the thread title as "Weirdest president"

I figured the response would be unanimous.

My birthday was right after the election last year. This year I had to have root canal surgery on my birthday.

You take a root canal over Trump, right?

Take one for the team, as they say.

If only there was such a choice!

Getting a root canal is more pleasant then listening to that thing speak. Thank goodness for anesthesia.

Upon closer inspection I noticed it was engraved with a large "R" on the front. Neither my first, middle or last name begins with r. It still makes me chuckle every time I use it 😀

One of the shirts had my cousin's name on it. My mom doesn't believe in wasting things so I wore that shirt.

From my brother years ago. That same year he got our cousin, who lives in San Francisco (where it’s never cold) fur-lined leather gloves. Maybe he meant to give Dave the toilet seat...? DH and I still chuckle about it once in a while. Since then brother’s gifts have been pretty normal, mostly books.

It's not the cologne as much as the imprinted words: "Sample - Not For Resale" stamped across the front of it.

It was a one of those little bags that came with the purchase of makeup. It had the make up company name on it.

of a philodendron. The gift tag read, "Kill this, sucker!" The giver had gifted a few doomed houseplants over the years, and had finally acquiesced to the reality of my notoriously black thumbs.
