Having a crisis our boys no not a constitutional one

As in why is our gym gear for school not clean dad and we have no socks. Yes Du community our two thirteen year old are in meltdown mode. This morning they were digging for clean gym clothes and not a set clean for gym class. And why because they left them in their wall lockers at school and their school issued gym clothes you have to be in uniform. So I gave them a bottle of febreeze and said spray before you get dressed for gym. And thanksgiving week I bought three bags of socks so 36 socks. And this morning they hit my socks as there is at least 36 pairs of socks floating on their bedroom floor. Rule is get your gear to the laundry room I’ll do it or their mother. Why I asked them you both know how to do laundry and your fingers are not broken. I just caught looks from both of them like dad your being unreasonable.

so she loaded all of the dishes into the sink.


And then said, when I complained, I have a lot of pressure right now. At least I tried.

4. My favorite excuse

when my son came up short like this, in response to why didn't you wash your clothes, was "It was the weekend, and that's my only time off." Seriously. He seriously would say that (also when whining about being told to cut the grass and any other normal household chore that a kid might be expected to do).

My 18 yr old grandson can't even make a sandwich, much less do laundry.
