I saw a discussion of this on Facebook and .... okay I don't want to influence the votes.

When making a bed with printed sheets - the fitted sheet is obviously printed side UP - for the sheet itself how do you put it on the bed?

1. It depends.....

If you plan on flipping the top over a quilt or blanket so that it shows....then print side down so the flipped, showing part will have the print showing correctly. 😜. Advice from a woman who is lucky to sorta pull up a comforter, smooth a wrinkle or two (maybe) and call it a day!

That is the proper way. For me Who gives a shit? As long as they are clean and on my bed, I am happy.

I am cracking up about this. Had never heard of or seen a bed with the print DOWN.

and under the covers. Have you ever gotten into bed and didn't manage to get under the sheet, just the blanket? Folding the sheet over stops that.

i just wasnt raised to be that orderly. even if i was, the dogs would unmake it anyway. have one little dog that insists on being under the covers.

15. Okay thanks. When I read "printed sheet" I thought the whole thing was printed.

Frankly as far as I've always understood it the sheet shouldn't be visible at all,once a bed is made up. The cover serves also to convey cleanliness of the sheets your guest will be sleeping in.
