I saw a discussion of this on Facebook and .... okay I don't want to influence the votes.
When making a bed with printed sheets - the fitted sheet is obviously printed side UP - for the sheet itself how do you put it on the bed?

(19,800 posts)If you plan on flipping the top over a quilt or blanket so that it shows....then print side down so the flipped, showing part will have the print showing correctly. 😜. Advice from a woman who is lucky to sorta pull up a comforter, smooth a wrinkle or two (maybe) and call it a day!

(1,303 posts)That is the proper way. For me Who gives a shit? As long as they are clean and on my bed, I am happy.

(197,167 posts)Frankly as far as I've always understood it the sheet shouldn't be visible at all, once a bed is made up. The cover serves also to convey cleanliness of the sheets your guest will be sleeping in.
