and we tried to figure out how we could lug a portable speaker up the small mountain adjacent to the campus and blast it out. Never could find a way though.

Well damn, that was good! Drum solos were my greatest attraction, but all of the transitions throughout the song were amazing!

Remember seeing them in concert. After a couple of songs the auditorium went completely dark, then a column of flame shot straight up from the stage on the opening notes of this song. Whole place went nuts! Well, except for the cranky old guy sitting in front of us, he kept telling people to sit still; and we kept telling him that it wasn't a Beethoven concert and we rocked on. Salt Lake City, c.1969
