by the Bluebird of Disgruntlement.

This is probably because bluebirds and other native songbird species have been displaced by starlings, which are native to England.

Some guy thought that America should have one (?) of every type of bird mentioned in Shakespeare's plays.

But it's totally okay because starlings, being British, are not from a sh!thole country.
