Can you help me identify this TV episode?

An American man, now an adult, had a father who died as a WWII sailor. THe son was a kid then.

The son got to fooling around with a ham radio and somehow or other averted the father's death. I believe
the father was in a sub that the Germans torpedoed.

So--all is well, right? The father survived the war.

Well, yeah, but then you see Nazi soldiers on the streets, occupying the US of A.

1. It sounds kind of like

Frequency, starring Jim Caviezel, but in that movie, his father was a firefighter who'd died fighting a fire.

7. I remember seeing that; it was in color (1970s or 80s); the story takes

place in Cleveland, IIRC. The name escapes me, though. Thinking, thinking...
