The weed is growing everywhere. You can't leave the house without a machete to clear a path through it, and a few cans of pepper spray to deal with the more aggressive hippies. (Nobody wants to see you naked, grandma and grandpa!)
Driving is too dangerous. Cars parked in the middle of the road, people picnicking on the freeways, traffic signals maintained by stoned workers randomly flashing all the colors of the rainbow...
It's been a month of hell.
