My favorite recurring sketch was "Homey D. Clown"
My favorite one-time sketch was "An Elvis Sighting" ["Elvis is charging!"]
What a great show!

(24,328 posts)...it reminded me of the Harvey Korman and Tim Conway sketches on The Carol Burnette Show...a battle between the two to see which one could keep it together through the entire bit.

(21,646 posts)Bruno Mars has a recent song video that recreated the ILC years he even used their old set location and of course the look and colors in his video
I am using that as a 'gateway' to try to get the youngin teens to check out the old ILC shows .
Mentioning the Wayans family got them interested a little more
That and Second city and Monty Python. I said check these all out
Did Second city play nation wide? hope so - funny

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
