I buy a toy for my cat and he wants nothing to do with it - but in the middle of my sleep he will fish nail clippers out of my purse and bat them back and forth across a hardwood floor

No photos, alas, but 1/2 Appaloosa with all the markings, and 1/2 who knows................would jump anything! 48 below? He was warmer than in the truck.
