Ok, -5C is cold, no doubt, but I'm a tad envious...my wife and I are 100 km north of Prague in a mountainous area where Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic converge...great skiing...it's been -15 C to -30 C here!

Hey, did you stop by Christiania while in København? My late father and his entire family emigrated from Denmark (Horsens and Haderslev) to the US in the 30s.

How about the Oresund bridge to Malmo from København...pretty cool, huh?

Have a great time, stay warm!!

How about "The Tunnel" which was based on "The Bridge."

I watched both series on Netflix. I'm currently watching "Wallander." The scenery is so lovely. I would love to visit.

so, what the hell, I'm not getting any younger or healthier (yet), so I decided to hop over to Oslo, Norway.

When I come home on March 18th, I'll have memories of Deutschland, Danmark, Sverige, Norge, Nederland, and Czechia in my brain. I love to travel, so 29 years of no European travel just exploded this time.

I understand that it's a surefire way to ingratiate yourself with the locals. Demonstrates your interest in the culture, or somesuch.

In case you need to brush up:
