Elephants...

I read on several websites last week that dt has lifted that ban again. However, no one's talking about it. I'm trying to confirm if this is true. I've called a couple of places (PETA, World Animal Protection) but have been given voice mails and the run-around. Do any of you guys have any information about this? Thanks for your feedback....

Ellen did a video protesting this, there were petitions, etc. Now, no one is talking about it. It's just kind of weird

5. Outrage fatigue? So much to be outraged over these days. There is a petition, article mentions it.

More than one million people have signed a petition urging a ban on ivory and tusks being imported into the U.S. after the Trump administration reversed an Obama-era block on bringing elephant sport hunting trophies into the country.

The Change.org petition, which is aimed at President Donald Trump and Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, is gaining signatures rapidly since the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced it will lift the ban and that requests will now be dealt with on a “case-by case-basis.”

I'll check out the change.org petition. I know what you mean about outrage fatigue. It's like what are we supposed to be more upset about, kids getting shot in classrooms, cruelty to animals, and on and on.... W.T.F.!!?? Thank you for providing a starting place....
