I'm a Physician Assistant. I work in Healthcare for the Homeless.

In what field do you work? Emergency? Hospital? Specialty Care?

7. pediatric palliative care and hospice.

I could never do ERs or ICUs my brain doesn't work like that.

I can't even imagine the level of compassion, strength, and emotional fortitude it must take to work in a field like that. I thought mine was an emotionally trying field...

You and your colleagues have my respect.

9. Working with the homeless sounds like an awful big challenge.

What are the things that make you feel that what you do is worth it?

It just sounds heartbreaking to me...

11. Supporting the families building confidence that they can do it at home

and working with an amazing doctor who is so talented at controlling symptoms. We can't get it perfect 100% of the time that's for sure. But, over the years I do see a difference and I'm proud to be a part of it.

Also, it's hard to describe how great it is to be a witness to the things I see.
