The Slow Mo guys have been doing slow motion video for a quite while - check out their You Tube channel.

But more recently they have upgraded their equipment to ultra slow motion at ultra high resolution. Same as TVs are now out that have 4k resolution with faster refresh rates. They've begun a Super Slow Show that seems to be all in 4k.

They make videos explaining the slow motion video technology. Here area couple:

Those are from their The Slow Mo Guys 2 channel. Their original channel was The Slow Mo Guys. I find them highly amusing and their video are very interesting to watch.

We bought a new TV last fall and 4k TVs and OLED TVs were the big price tag items. We settled for a lower priced 4K. Yes the picture is better, when the supplied video is higher resolution - but since then I have been mostly streaming old TV shows so they are not even wide screen much less high resolution!

And that is about all I know about 4k.
