You've already dropped the "ic" at the end of your screen name, so why not?

But that was back around 2004, or so. I was going to out of state war protests and my poor mom asked me to get one so I could call her, should I need for her to arrange bail. No kidding. So I got a pre-paid T-Mobile flip phone that cost me less than $100 a year to keep going. I'm not a big phone person so it served me just fine.

I'v only recently 'upgraded' to a smart phone and started texting.

He has a trac phone "for emergencies" and does not text. No iPhone, no tablet (neither of which you will pry from my cold dead hands). He's only 3 years (and seemingly a generation) older than me. He's pretty frugal (not poor, just cheap) and that's part of it. He'll come around eventually.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
